You cannot always pre-plan the sale of your dental practice.  Often fate intervenes and all the things you read about needing to do to prepare your dental practice for a sale simply can’t be done.

Following the tragic death of my brother-in-law, I had to take over the running of his dental practice and prepare the business for sale.  I am the CEO of a nuclear fuels company and so was frankly clueless about what needed to be done.
