Specialist Dental Pracitce Brokers Lily Head Practice Sales has brokered the sale of a Dental Business Group comprising of 6 NHS Dental Practices in East Anglia.

Lily Head, Managing Director of Lily Head Practice Sales explains how she and her team worked through various models with the vendors before agreeing the go to market strategy.  The scenarios included selling each practice separately, in smaller strategic groups or as a whole in order to maximise the market value.

The decision was taken to market the entire group to buyers with the budget, infrastructure and experience to on board a business of this significance.

While it was essential to maximise the commercial value of the business, it was also a key requirement that the buyer appreciated and embraced the history of the group, the hard work and endeavour that many of the staff who will be transitioning to the new owners had put in over a number of years.
