This year’s report shows that amidst a post-recession economy, UK dental businesses continue to work to improve their underlying numbers – those not found in annual accounts – in order to achieve the ideal double whammy of:
1. Providing exceptional dental care and patient experience, AND
2. Seeing greater success, increased profits and the achievement of their dental business vision
These underlying numbers, often referred to as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), improved on average for practices across the UK in 2013 in areas including patient recall rates and new patient figures.
However, the top quartile of UK dental businesses contributed strongly to this rise in results, as they consistently succeeded in generating noticeably higher monthly figures compared to their counterparts.
